Hajime Isayama, Author of Attack On Titan Announces a New Manga ‘Bad Boy’

It will be part of the upcoming Attack On Titan artbook

Attack On Titan is one of the biggest anime/manga series in recent memory, and now, the series’ author – Hajime Isayama – has something new in store. Attack on Titan has been a juggernaut and remains an enduring favorite with anime fans around the world. But the impending climax of the anime series and the manga having already wrapped up, fans have been wishing for more.

A wish that may get fulfilled; a recent rumor, circulating on social media, hinted at 18 new pages from Isayama, sparking speculation of a new ending for Attack on Titan. However, an official statement from the creator clarified the situation. The mystery surrounding these pages isn’t tied to an alternate ending, but an entirely different story waiting to unfold.

The news broke with a sneak peek at the “Attack on Titan” Complete Illustrations Artbook “FLY,” slated for release on April 30, 2024. Hajime Isayama was working on a new manga for said art book, and it’s turned out to be his new tale, titled Akudou (Bad Boy).

Bad Boy isn’t an epilogue for Attack on Titan; it’s a standalone manga snugly fitting into Volume 35, complementing the art book’s illustration.

No further details about the story, plot, or characters have been released yet.
