Chris Emerson aka What So Not stopped by the 9:30 Club in Washington D.C. and threw down. Exactly a year after his last appearance, D.C. was ready for more great vibes. Wolf Alice’s sound is all about hidden sharp edges. Deep dangerous things lurking just beneath the surface until they come exploding out in an all-out barrage. Following Falsettos' 2016 revival the fact that it's now getting a national tour shows how it's themes and topics are still relevant and important for the times and LGBTQ+ individuals.
The first stop in The DAMN. Tour was nothing less than spectacular. High energy and engaging from start to finish with some spectacular stage visuals from both Travis and Kendrick. This is him at his peak with an arsenal of hits to work with; the wait to see him was well worth it.

At 30 years old, Anderson East is just getting started and without question will be one to watch in the coming years. East is currently on tour with his full band and Jade Bird with summer dates throughout the Midwest. Regardless of the type of music you think you like, East’s energy has something for everyone and is a performer you can’t afford to miss. Check out our full gallery of shots from the night.
Enter Shikari brought every bit of expected energy and then some. The crowd’s energy was easily that of a group twice the size, and the exchange between the band and crowd was a true spectacle. For this photographer, it was almost enough to set my camera gear aside and wade into the pit. Check out our collection of photos from a fantastic show at the 9:30 Club in Washington D.C.
