LA singer/songwriter, yoga instructor & wellness advocate little luna has released her sophomore EP the wildflower woman, available to stream now on all DSPs worldwide. The EP comes on the heels of her first headlining show @ El Cid in Los Angeles last week. It follows luna’s 2022 debut through the self and focuses on her perpetual journey into self discovery. Sonically, the EP showcases modern elements of rock and alternative weaved effortlessly with her signature ’70s singer/songwriter undertone, reminiscent of Joni Mitchell, Carole King, and Stevie Nicks.
“self-discovery is a seemingly simple idea, but a struggle I’ve carried for most of my life,” says luna. “each song on the wildflower woman EP correlates with a different wildflower, and color, giving you a visual palette to match this sentiment; we are continually in a state of growth and decay…and you are allowed to change! these lyrics are my most vulnerable yet, purposefully set to tempos you can blast out of your speakers as you navigate your own journey to your truest self. wildflowers grow on the side of the highway in the trash, yet remain beautiful and soft. they are resilient as hell, and so are we. i am a wildflower woman, and perhaps you are a wildflower person too?”
little luna is on the journey of re-discovering her truest self. Deeply inspired by the sounds of the late ’60s/early ’70s, she is writing songs from her heart that call the listener to check in with their truest self. In the past two years, she has opened for acts like as 5 Seconds of Summer, Jagwar Twin, and Steve Miller Band, and has been methodically rolling out tracks from her forthcoming the wildflower woman EP throughout 2023. Teaching yoga and meditation for seven plus years, little luna creates a yoga flow for each of her songs (YouTube) and ends her EP’s with a 25-minute guided meditation (the wildflower woman coming with the meditation “garden”). little luna will follow the upcoming EP release with a tour in spring of 2024.
