Ayleen Valentine Readies Debut Album w/ Eerie New Electro-Alt Track “000memories”

Ahead of her highly-anticipated debut album 'little rainbows after death'

Dynamic alt songwriter Ayleen Valentine has shared her eerie electro-alt track “000memories,” available to stream now on all DSPs worldwide via Giant Music. The track comes with the announcement of Valentine’s highly-anticipated debut album little rainbows after death, written and produced entirely by Ayleen, out May 3rd.

“With a lot of new songs from this cycle I wanted to focus on vibe more than songwriting and vocals,” says Ayleen. “I think this song has an eerie, liminal space feeling that encapsulates how I felt at the time. It feels lonely and dark, and by the end of the song there’s an emotional explosion followed by screamo vocals. I wanted to use screaming as a way to express the frustration I was feeling about my life.”

Growing up in Miami, Ayleen Valentine always had a passion for songwriting and art. She dreamed of working with artists like James Blake, loved the rawness of rappers like XXXTentacion, and respected Grimes for her ability to self-produce. The 22-year-old Valentine dropped out of Berklee College of Music, where she had a full ride for music production, to move to LA and devote herself entirely to music. Drawing upon her Argentinian and Peruvian background, Ayleen incorporates a fresh, distinct perspective in her songwriting mixed with her solid production style. To kick off 2024, Ayleen released two singles from the upcoming album, “ask nicely” and “sex symbol.”

Ayleen has also announced an upcoming headline album release show at LA’s Moroccan Lounge on May 16th. Tickets can be purchased here.
