Long-Running Band Iration Release their 8th Studio Album Daytrippin

'Daytrippin' is a return to their roots

Reggae-influenced alt/rock band Iration have just released their 8th studio album Daytrippin.

“The Daytrippin album is a return to our roots,” Pueschel goes on to say. “We set out to strike a balance between polished studio production and the energy of a live show. We leaned on our reggae and rock influences to find a natural evolution from earlier albums like Time Bomb and Hotting Up.”

The album was self-produced by the band with the help of acclaimed songwriter/producer Suzy Shinn (Panic! at the Disco, Weezer, Dua Lipa) in addition to longtime friend and producer David Manzoor, and features guest appearances by Maxi Priest and Claire Wright. Throughout their celebrated career, Iration has racked up more than 1 billion total streams worldwide and established themselves as one of the most popular reggae-rock bands in the world, with their classic songs “Time Bomb” and “Falling” reaching RIAA certified gold status in 2020. Iration’s sun-drenched songs have also garnered critical acclaim with American Songwriter, Billboard, All Music, The Noise and others.

Touring nationally since 2008, Iration is renowned for their captivating live performances. They’ve performed at major music festivals like Outside Lands, Lollapalooza, Hangout Fest, Cali Vibes Fest, Bottlerock; as well as special performances for the San Francisco Giants, San Francisco 49ers, Kelly Slater, and Senator Bernie Sanders.

Limited edition Vinyl, CD and digital bundles are also available on the band’s online store. In support of the album, the band will continue their relentless tour schedule with a 6-week US run with Artikal Sound System and Cydeways, kicking off October 13th in Sacramento.
