Bandcamp continues its “100% Royalties for Artists” Day in support for racial justice

They'll be donating 100% of our share of sales to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund

Most of the artists are donating these royalties to organizations fighting for racial justice in the wake of George Floyd’s death and the subsequent protests across the globe.

Many musicians and other artists like Bruce Springsteen and David Lynch are supporting protests against the death of George Floyd and racism as such. The number of artists supporting anti-racial protests is growing by the day. This includes quite a number of musicians that are offering their releases through the Bandcamp online portal.

Bandcamp itself has been holding a series of campaigns under the title “100% royalties for artists,” where artists themselves have, like New Music Express (NME) points out, are donating their share “to organizations fighting for racial justice in the wake of George Floyd’s death and the subsequent protests across the globe.”

As Bandcamp itself mentions, on Friday, June 19th, we’ll be donating 100% of our share of sales to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund to support their work. More info here.

The whole list of contributors is available in the above announcement.
