The Early Years of The Rolling Stones Celebrated by New Book and Vinyl Reissues

The albums are US editions of their first three albums

Goldmine, one of the venerable oldie and classic rock magazines has prepared a true celebration of The Rolling Stones and the band’s early career (1963-1966). That celebration includes a special edition book and a limited edition, numbered box set with 180-gram vinyl pressings of the US edition of their first three albums. Fans can buy the book and the albums as a set or separately.

The book is 12″x12″ (the perfect size to file next to your Stones records), 100 pages long in full color, and tells the story of how they got together with the help of manager/producer Andrew Loog Oldham to become “the bad boys of rock.” Enhanced by photography, album art and memorabilia, The Rolling Stones – The Early Years goes behind the scenes to describe the making of the band’s earliest albums and how the sound, fashion and songwriting evolved during that period.

The albums are US editions of their first three albums: 1964 debut, England’s Newest Hit Makers; 1964’s 12×5 (on exclusive gold vinyl); and 1965’s Now!; as well as their first live album released in the US, Got Live If You Want It!.
