This year they’ll present their exhibitors, its artists, and special projects through a carefully framed curatorial focus that speaks to presented works, their programming, and issues affecting our contemporary life. That said, the 2023 focus is Civilization is not Civil.
For our 11th edition, Prizm will present its curated Special Projects Section titled Civilization is not Civil, with presentations by select galleries and artists. Civilization is not Civil will explore the irony that civilizations are born of not-so-civil acts. Economic systems, policies, and geopolitics play an integral role in shaping societies that oppress many but generously serve a few.
Their holistic program will include four sections: Prizm Panels, Prizm Film, Prizm Preview, and, of course, their Fair exhibition. Artists will represent global locales including, Barbados, Guadeloupe, Kenya, Trinidad and Tobago, and the United Kingdom, and many more.
Prizm Art Fair 2023 is made possible by the enduring support of their sponsors: The Green Family Foundation, Miami-Dade Department of Cultural Affairs, The Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau, The Florida Division of Cultural Affairs, and the Urban League of Broward County.
