Nineties Indie Favorites The Strokes Announce a New Box Set 

The set is comprised of early singles and some rarities

New York’s The Strokes, who were quite a sensation in the ’90s with their Velvet Underground-inflected indie rock, just announced The Singles – Volume 01, a box set that will feature the singles and rare B-sides. 

The set will cover their Is This It, Room on Fire, and First Impressions of Earth albums, and will include home recordings of “Is This It” and “Alone Together,” a live version of “Clampdown” recorded at London’s Alexandra Palace, a demo version of “I’ll Try Anything Once,” and more.

The singles will be pressed on black 7” vinyl and will feature the artwork from each original release.
