Shower Beers Drop Massive New Summer Breakdown Single “Afterglow”

With monster guitar riffs, a sing-along chorus, and breakdowns

NYC-based pop punkers Shower Beers round out their sophomore EP Miracle on 34th & 3rd with the electrically charged summer anthem “Afterglow.” With monster guitar riffs, a sing-along chorus, and breakdowns sure to make you move, “Afterglow” is a fitting closure to this chapter of Shower Beers’ releases.

“Afterglow” recruits Orlando-based Outatime! to help tell a story about that partner you know you shouldn’t be (but always find yourself) with. Full of guitar tones and gang vocals that pay homage to Four Year Strong, producer Rob Freeman (Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship) toes the line between layered pop punk and full-on easycore.

“Afterglow” is the final single off Shower Beers’ sophomore EP Miracle on 34th & 3rd, which features a globe-trotting cast of features including Australia’s SoSo, Atlanta’s glimmers, and Boston’s We Demand Parachutes.

Shower Beers’ singer Chris Diorio says of the track: “’Afterglow’ is crammed full of every punk rock songwriting trope we could think of: fat guitars, tons of gangs, a comical breakdown, and a key change in the final chorus – this song is a testament to just how fun this genre can be.”

Fans can expect more music in the future as Shower Beers just wrapped up another studio session. Are you rocking with “Afterglow”?
