The girls of Ettijah–along with roughly 17,000 other Palestinian refugees–reside in the Dheisheh refugee camp, and it was under these severe circumstances that their rap group was born. It's been through hip-hop that these fierce girls have been able to express their life circumstances and build an appreciative following.
