A Tribute Album to Talking Heads is Coming from A24

The release date of the album is set for May 17, 2024

Back in January of 2024, A24 Music announced a Talking Heads tribute album entitled Everyone’s Getting Involved: A Tribute To Talking Heads’ Stop Making Sense. Now, the label has announced that the release date of the album is set for May 17, 2024.

This announcement comes on the 40th anniversary of Stop Making Sense premiering at the San Francisco Film Festival. That film was restored and re-released by A24 last year, prompting the band to reunite for Q&As.

Everyone’s Getting Involved pressed on Big Suit Silver, featuring special silver print jacket.

The Talking Heads tribute album features Miley Cyrus, The National, Blondshell, The Linda Lindas, El Mato, Paramore, DJ Tunez, Teezo Touchdown, Jean Dawson, The Cavemen., BADBADNOTGOOD, Kevin Abstract, Toro y Moi, girl in red, Lorde and Chicano Batman.

“Talking Heads is an iconic band that helped define my identity when I was a teenager and they continue to inspire young people all around the world,” Marie Ulven said in a statement. “Being a part of this tribute is so sick and I’m super grateful I was given the opportunity.
