Plague Vendor were openers for a recent All Them Witches show at the Rock & Roll Hotel in Washington D.C. Here's our collection of shots from a fantastic set from the group.
Moments when a band is able to completely capture the energy of the crowd and harness it are rarer than one would expect, but with their performance of “Middle Fingers” MISSIO was able to do just that. As all 500 concert goers triumphantly waved both middle fingers high, the restless energy of current political and social events was given a momentary catharsis. Expect to see big things from this band and if you can, check them out live on their currently sold-out nationwide tour. Molly Tuttle was the opener for the recent Old Crow Medicine Show concert at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN. Here's our collection of shots from a fantastic set.
My first night at the Ryman was also my first time seeing Old Crow Medicine Show in several years, and while the lineup had inevitably changed, their rebel spirit was still there - from the opening breakneck pace of “Tear It Down” to the final ephemeral notes of “Will the Circle Be Unbroken.”
Friend of LLF and frequent collaborator, Axcess just released his very dope latest project Rebel Against Society, and to celebrate it's release he put on quite the show at the Reverb Lounge in Omaha, Nebraska. The whole affair was hosted by Doc Beatbox with DJ K-Dub on the boards, and featured guest appearances from Trevor Scott, Houdini, Meraki Skies, Greco, and K3rtis Montano. And we've got some great shots from the night.
First of all, shout out to all of you living.life.fearless!!! We thank you for the growing support and we look forward to hearing more of your stories, so that we might be able to share those experiences with the #LLF community, to relate to, share, and learn more about ourselves and each other. =)
Now back to the main event! Our first Artist Spotlight!
Introducing
Ceramic Artist and Assistant Professor at Doane College: Eric Stearns...
Music can transcend its utility to become a powerful weapon, and grandson understands how to wield it in the service of the righteous anger of their message while balancing the entertainment of the crowd. Check out our full collection of shots from the show.
Once in a while I’m pleasantly surprised by an evening that is so intimately tied together that you can’t divorce the performances from each other. Performances that demand to be addressed as a whole rather than cut into distinct pieces. Gordi and S. Carey put on one such performance to a sold-out crowd at DC9 Nightclub in Washington, D.C. Check out the full gallery of photos from their amazing sets here.
Our collection of photos from the local DC show at the Rock & Roll Hotel featuring Sub Radio, Unring the Bell, Fuzz Queen, and Goose Club. It was a great show, let us know if you spot yourself in the crowd!
When Metalheads descended upon Merriweather Post Pavilion on a Tuesday night for Slayer’s “final tour", in true fashion, the band literally chose to go down, or up for that matter, in hot shooting flames. Check out our full collection of shots from the show.

Baltimore-based hardcore punk band, Turnstile, is not only one of our favorite “local bands,” they are now one of this year’s biggest surprise Grammy stories and one of the hottest tickets out. We have the pictures to prove it.
As you all know by now we love spotlighting others who we think are doing something special and represent that fearless mentality. With this next spotlight I knew absolutely nothing about these guys a month ago, that was until I got a message in our inbox asking about the Spotlights we do. They happened to stumble upon our first Spotlight we did on Loveless City, and were interested in getting their own, so they sent over some of their information and I have to say I was quite impressed....

We got chance to catch French-Caribbean soul singer Adi Oasis at the DC9 in Washington D.C. and it was as soulful, funky, sexy, and fierce as any act you'll see this year. Be sure to catch her on tour.
Kerry James Marshall is a Living Legend in the art world. His retrospective is brilliant and actually lives up to the hype. Its just too bad this show can't stay up forever!

You know when you have a plan for how everything is going to play out and then when it’s go...
In this modern age of overproduction, auto-tune, and digital manipulation it’s all too easy to lose the emotional power of a voice in the chaos. Sometimes it only takes the simplest of setups to filter all that “noise” out and remind you just how powerful that connection with a voice really is. 23 year old London native Freya Ridings has one such voice. Check out the full gallery of shots from the show.
