We're back and discussing a lot of news happening in and around music like Kanye postponing Yandhi once again, Missy Elliott preparing her return to music, little known band, Threatin, pulling one the greatest dupes in rock history, and more. Then we discuss if we feel some type of way about Ariana Grande's now #1 hit, "thank u, next", Stan Lee's impact on hip-hop, and 15 years of The Black Album and it possibly being Jay-Z's best/most impactful album out of his whole discography. We close things out by breaking down recent album releases and the new music we can expect over the next couple of weeks.
Big name collaborations are supposed to elevate each other's craft and this falls well short of doing that. Just another project that'll get lost in the current. I thinks it's time we start rethinking this whole 'collaboration' thing and only reserve it for truly special moments (Kendrick, J. Cole I'm looking at y'all).
