New 3-CD All-Star Tribute Album to Pink Floyd is Coming

Animals Against The Wall – A Tribute To Pink Floyd Volume II is  a new all-star tribute album to Pink Floyd that will be available from Cherry Red Records’ Lemon imprint on May 1, 2026. The 3-CD clamshell box is an all-star gathering of classic, progressive and art-rock artists performing Floyd’s 1977 album Animals alongside 1979’s The Wall. The collection is available to order in the U.S. here and in the U.K. here (where it arrives on April 24).

The label’s 2025 release, Shining On – Pink Floyd Tribute Collection, serves as the foundation for the new collection. That previous set was devoted largely to two albums widely celebrated by fans as shining examples of their mid-’70s discography, The Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here. The 2026 release explores some of the creative balance between Roger Waters and David Gilmour from the late-’70s. A partial list of contributing artists includes Ian Anderson, Rick Wakeman, Steve Howe, Chris Squire, Alan White, Keith Emerson, Robby Krieger, Al Di Meola, Arthur Brown, Billy Cobham, Vinnie Moore, Graham Bonnet, John Wetton, Adrian Belew, Glenn Hughes, and Tommy Shaw, among many others.
