Beastie Boys to Reissue a Deluxe Version of Their Album ‘To the Five Boroughs’

Beastie Boys are set to come up with a deluxe reissue version of their post-September 11 album To the Five Boroughs. (2004), This version will become available on April 17, 2026, and will be in the form of expanded 3xLP or 2xCD sets. Both will be available with 11 bonus tracks, including remixes and B-sides. The 3-LP set is pressed on 180-gram vinyl and housed in a triple gatefold jacket featuring pop-up components and a subway map lithograph. Meanwhile, the 2-CD set is packaged in a multi-paneled soft pack.

In the aftermath of the September 11th attacks, Beastie Boys released To the 5 Boroughs as a tribute to their hometown. Debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the album earned a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album. In addition to the Hot 100 hit “Ch-Check It Out,” the LP contains the heartfelt “An Open Letter to NYC.”
