Buzzing Singer Zach Templar Delivers Smooth Lo-Fi Pop Single “Give Me Your Heart”

Putting his crystalline falsetto front and center

UK-Colombian artist Zach Templar has just dropped his new single “Give Me Your Heart.” Coming off of a dazzling year – one in which he ascended into one of the buzziest young voices in the lo-fi pop arena simply from the laptop in his bedroom in Somerset, UK – the budding singer-songwriter is wasting no time to begin 2025.

A woozy track that puts Zach Templar’s crystalline falsetto front-and-center, “Give Me Your Heart” developed a cult following over the past few months since Zach first started teasing the track online.

“On a recent trip to Paris, I felt so inspired by the bars, lights, people and atmosphere,” adds Zach. “I had to make a song about it all, so I did in a hotel room while I was there. I laid down the main chunk of the instrumental then finished it myself within a few days of being back in the UK. I’ve been into various RnB artists a ton recently, and that’s the direction I wanted to translate here. ‘Give Me Your Heart’ is an expression of not being able to fulfill that feeling of love or desire to how you’d like.”

The song follows Zach’s “changes” and “roses”, a gauzy pair of singles which he released just before his debut North American tour this past autumn. Despite it being his first time stepping foot in the US and Canada, the run saw every show packed wall-to-wall with fervent fans, and his Los Angeles show was moved to larger venue months in advance to match demand.

Suffice it to say, the past year has been a blur for Zach. Writing, recording, and producing all of his songs independently to-date, the self-taught musician’s ascent first sparked with “missin something” – his viral 2023 track that’s eclipsed 100 million streams on Spotify alone. It’s a track that first introduced his lo-fi pop sound, pastel-tinted guitar work & production chops, and coming-of-age lyricism to the masses. A steady cadence of singles since then has continued to captivate audiences around the world to the tune of 1.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
