It made me realize how sad it is that safety and respect for consent feel like rare qualities these days. When I met this person, they embodied the sweet, beautiful sentiment of that Leith Ross song, seeing me as so much more than just sex, and everything in between. I wrote a leith ross song out of love for them, but also out of love for the song that first inspired it.”
