UK Singer-Songwriter Kayla Grace Drops New Love-Drunk Tribute “A Leith Ross Song”

Kayla Grace has shared her latest single “a leith ross song,” a love-drunk tribute to her sweetheart. The track clings to the tiny, electric moments that make them theirs – potent, fluorescent, dizzy with joy.

Nodding to Leith Ross’ “We’ll Never Have Sex,” the song bottles that same tender intimacy, carried by hushed vocals and featherlight guitar strums. It glows with the warmth of new love and the reckless, all-consuming belief that no one has ever felt this way before.

Speaking about her new single, Grace describes, “I wrote a leith ross song after meeting someone really special. On the surface, it’s a queer love song, but if you listen closely, there’s so much more to it. After hearing We’ll Never Have Sex by Leith Ross, I found myself looking at intimacy and romance in a completely new way. It made me realize how sad it is that safety and respect for consent feel like rare qualities these days. When I met this person, they embodied the sweet, beautiful sentiment of that Leith Ross song, seeing me as so much more than just sex, and everything in between. I wrote a leith ross song out of love for them, but also out of love for the song that first inspired it.”

In the ever-evolving landscape of the UK music scene, one name continues to captivate both newcomers and devoted fans alike: Kayla Grace. Since unveiling her debut EP Glass Child in 2023, the 22-year-old songwriter and guitarist has been carving out a space of her own, turning quiet confessions into anthems for her generation. With a sharp eye for life’s messier moments and a potent knack for indie pop storytelling, Grace continues to pull listeners deeper into her world—one raw, unfiltered lyric at a time.
