Tom Did It & UK Legend Chip Team Up on New Single, “Madison Beer”

Already carving out a reputation as one of the UK’s most exciting new forces, Hertfordshire-hailing artist, producer, and engineer Tom Did It keeps the momentum sky high as he steps into the spotlight with the release of “Madison Beer.” A headrush of a single featuring UK icon Chip comes alongside the official announcement of Tom’s debut mixtape Did It, arriving this summer via Since ’93, the Sony Music powerhouse behind some of the culture’s boldest voices.

There’s a neon sign glowing in a barn on the edge of Luton. It hums beside a desk,  a row of studio monitors and a thick haze of ambition. This is The Barn: part refuge, part launchpad and the place where Tom Did It, the 22-year-old rapper, vocalist, and self-engineered storm has been quietly building a sound entirely his own.

Premiered with a striking music video directed by Leon Matthews, “Madison Beer” captures the rush of being young, reckless, and almost-famous. Shot across Enfield, a classic London pub, and the now-iconic Shell petrol station (a sly nod to Chip’s own visual legacy), the video channels the spirit of Tom’s debut project.

The single itself is a hedonistic, hopeful ride: it drinks too much, smokes too much and is laced with the clarity and chaos that defines Tom’s sound. “Madison Beer” doesn’t search for meaning but exists in the moment, charged with the kind of energy that defines a generation trying to carve out their own path outside the expected routes. There’s swagger, for sure, but also something more lasting: a sense of torch-passing, as Chip’s verse grounds the track in UK legacy while Tom hurtles forward into what’s next.
