Rising R&B Singer Sweata Delivers a Cuffing Season Anthem with “Cozy”

Rising singer, songwriter, and producer Sweata unveils his brand-new single “Cozy.” The track serves as the centerpiece of his upcoming debut album, blending warmth and vulnerability into what he calls “Sweata Weatha” — a soundtrack for cuffing season and beyond.

Written last winter during a period of solitude, “Cozy” reflects the intimacy of wanting someone’s presence and the courage to say it out loud. Anchored by the refrain, “If I could be the one to keep you cozy, would you stay for the night?”, the song highlights Sweata’s ability to merge honest storytelling with the classic textures of R&B.

Less than a year ago, Sweata introduced listeners to his world with “8PM (By Your Side),” a remorseful ballad steeped in late-night vulnerability, followed by “One Life,” a bold declaration about love’s fleeting urgency. Each release revealed a different layer of his artistry — regret, desire, hope — and now, with “Cozy,” Sweata turns that exploration inward, offering his most intimate and inviting record yet.

The record was co-produced by Synchro (Naod, RexxLifeRaj) and ifSWAGGdidit (H.E.R., Kehlani, Bryson Tiller), with songwriting contributions from Rahel Phillips (Rapsody, Ruel). Together, the team crafted a soundscape that feels deeply personal while resonating universally.

With “Cozy”, Sweata invites listeners to experience his world with sincerity and intimacy. The song also serves as the centerpiece of his forthcoming debut album.
