Rising metalcore powerhouse Verkari have dropped their most brutal and cathartic track to date with new single “Devourer”, via Punkerton Records.
Since crashing onto the scene with their 2023 debut single “Capsize,” Verkari has carved a place for themselves with an unrelenting blend of punishing breakdowns, guttural vocals, and eerie, melodic textures. Drawing influence from heavyweights like Wage War, Emmure, Knocked Loose, Korn, and Polaris, Verkari’s sound channels raw aggression and emotional depth in equal measure.
“‘Devourer’ is our heaviest track to date,” says vocalist Quil Seawright. “It really encompasses the feeling and thoughts you have when you’ve had enough of people’s bullshit.”
