Rising alt-rock group The Band Solstice have released their powerful new single, “Overpass.” The track landed in the middle of the band’s current U.S. Southwest tour, and serves as a bold preview of their forthcoming debut album, due out in 2026 via Too Fine Records.
“Overpass” embodies the band’s gritty yet melodic sound, blending driving guitars with emotional, angsty vocals. Lyrically, the song digs into feelings of abandonment and being stuck in limbo. As the band explains: “The recurring ‘You left me hanging at the Overpass’ works like a metaphor for being abandoned in a transitional, in-between place. Not quite where you want to be, stuck beneath something bigger.”

Formed in 2019 by five lifelong friends – Marty Gee, Grayson Strader, Jackson Frazier, Maddox Frazier, and Jacob Greene – The Band Solstice has carved out a sound that draws inspiration from Kings of Leon, Dawes, Mt.
