The winter holiday season is a perfect setting for reissues, both deserved and undeserved, and the ones for the solo catalogs of George Harrison and Ringo Starr surely fall in the deserved category. George Harrison solo catalog has been reissued before, but now three more of his solo titles were once again made available on vinyl and CD: 1979’s self-titled George Harrison album (available in the U.S. here); 1981’s Somewhere in England (in the U.S. here); and 1982’s Gone Troppo (in the U.S. here). These titles have already hit the shops on October 24, 2025.
A 2-LP compilation, Let it Roll: Songs by George Harrison, is available in the U.S. here.
In addition, Ringo Starr’s first four solo albums have received limited edition pressings on color vinyl. The new editions, released on Oct. 24, via UMe, are 1970’s Sentimental Journey and Beaucoup of Blues, 1973’s Ringo and 1974’s Goodnight Vienna. They’re available in the U.S. here.
