“This was an exciting exercise in breaking away from what is expected, yet a slightly arduous process of a normal album release cycle. Electronic music has always been an influence that we felt has taken a bit of a backseat in our writing process, so this has been a good exercise in completely bringing that influence to the forefront. TTWF has always had the desire to make music that people can dance to, it’s in our writing process, but never have we ever turned the knob to 11 and made a complete dance-track, this is our first foré into that.” – David Welcsh & Alex Hendricks
With “Can You See Me”, The Thing With Feathers continues to expand their sonic identity while cementing their place as one of the most exciting young acts out of Music City.
