McBaise is the latest project fronted by illustrator and smooth vibe merchant Mcbess, the new single “Alice” follows in the tradition of his previous lead singles, with a new animated video in the artist’s unmistakable style.
The new video, directed & produced by mcbess, follows a young hiker as she explores a beautiful mountain vista, only to find that her ill-fated journey takes her a lot further than she ever intended.
Clothing label The Dudes will release a Summer 25 clothing collection entirely devoted to the characters in the new Alice video.

In celebration of this new release, The Dudes presents a limited edition vinyl toy of the Alice character, designed by mcbess and created with renowned 3-D artist and long-time collaborator Vincent Techer.

mcbess says: “Alice started from a bass loop I wrote nearly three years ago — it always felt like too much of a mood to waste as just a throwaway idea. I built the track around it holding the guitars back until the end to give it some contrast let things breathe before opening up. The synths and chords lean into a kind of vaporwavy haze. It’s called Alice after Alice in Wonderland because the aim was to make it feel like a journey — just with fewer tea parties. After recording the track, I started work on the clothing collection with The Dudes, the vinyl toy and the animated video. It’s the first time we’ve coordinated all these elements, which makes it extra special for fans who have been patiently waiting for new material.”
Big Night, well-known by locals for their seasonal skewer menu and wide cocktail selection, will be offering a customized selection of yakitori as well as cocktails with recipes inspired by the video.
To go along with the collectible toy, video and the clothing collection, the upcoming album will be available on limited edition vinyl later in the year. Featuring a red puffer-jacket sleeve to match the character of Alice and available in all Dudes stores and through Dirty Melody Records, it promises to be a real treat for collectors.
