London duo Babeheaven — vocalist Nancy Andersen and producer/multi-instrumentalist Jamie Travis — return with their new single “Picture This.” Their brand new EP Slower Than Sound, is arriving October 24 on Scenic Route.
After four years away, the band return with their long-awaited 5-track EP. Following the warmly received lead single “Beloved,” “Picture This” unfolds like a photo album, capturing snapshots of a relationship in motion: looking back, leaning forward, and holding fast to love in the present. Each verse frames a moment in time, weaving past, present, and future together through melody and memory.
Nancy explains: “’Picture This’ is a love song I wrote about growing up. I wanted it to feel like flipping through a photo album—cherishing moments with loved ones while imagining what the future could hold: children, marriage, and being completely crazy about someone.”
Since debuting with “Friday Sky” in 2016, Babeheaven have steadily built a loyal following through their two acclaimed albums, ‘Home For Now’ and ‘Sink Into Me’. Their music has amassed over 65 million Spotify streams, and won support and praise. Live, the band have sold out Village Underground, Bush Hall, and Jazz Cafe, and shared stages with Cigarettes After Sex, Loyle Carner, and Nilüfer Yanya.
Visually, Babeheaven’s world has been crafted in collaboration with leading creatives including Margot Bowman, Frank Lebon, Tegen Williams, Sacha Beeley, and Joyce Ng, underscoring their reputation as one of the UK’s most distinctive and multi-dimensional acts.
