Italian Psych-Garage Outfit Bee Bee Sea Release Ripping New Single “Keep It Cool”

Italian psych-garage band Bee Bee Sea has released their new single “Keep It Cool“, available digitally and as a limited edition 7” now via Wild Honey Records. The release is in anticipation of the forthcoming announcement of their new album.

“Keep It Cool” is sharp, ironic, and painfully true: a clash between the fear of flying and the reckless joy of the after-party (hangover included). Inspired by an early-morning return from a European show, an all-nighter straight to the gate, a dawn take-off, and a bout of gastroenteritis turned tragicomic at 10,000 meters, the track is raw honesty wrapped in tongue-in-cheek attitude.

One of the very first songs written for Stanzini Can Be Alright, it has been road-tested live for nearly two years, mutating with every performance. Musically, it’s where DEVO-like jolts collide with ’90s American indie rock energy.

On the B-side, you’ll find “Anthem of Rok n Roll,”  a power-pop cut with a chorus melody written 16 years ago in a teenage bedroom, finally brought to life. Lyrics pay tribute to the MC5, and the whole thing feels like a love letter to raw, loud rock’n’roll.
