Isle of Wight band Coach Party are back with their new single “Do It For Love.” Serving as the album opener for their forthcoming sophomore LP Caramel – out September 26, 2025 via Chess Club Records – “Do It For Love” is a force of nature. A love child of riot grrrl, indie pop, and arena-ready rock, the track is as soaring as it is confrontational, tackling the undeniable struggle that modern artists often endure.
“Do It For Love is a song about the realities of being a working-class band—the endless grind, the expectations to give everything while being offered so little in return,” says Coach Party’s frontwoman Jess Eastwood. “It’s a track that speaks to the passion that keeps artists moving forward despite the weight of it all: doing it for love, even when the cost is high.”
“Do It For Love” is the third preview of Caramel so far, following on the heels of the grungey “Do Yourself A Favour” and the project’s debut single “GIRLS!”. The band’s return has sparked a frenzy of attention, including placement on BBC 6Music’s B List, landing on numerous playlists, and catching the attention of numerous editorials.
Over the course Caramel’s self-produced 10 songs, Coach Party brazenly dissects the feelings of isolation and loneliness that all-too-often plague us in this hyper-online era – and the invigoration of being picked up by your friends that brings you back to life. For all of the instances of heartbreak, self-loathing, and biting your tongue for the benefit of others, Caramel, at its core, is a celebration of the genuine human connection we find on the other side of those truths and shared experiences.
Coach Party is comprised of Jess Eastwood (vocals-bass), Steph Norris (guitar), Joe Perry (guitar) and Guy Page (drums); all of whom met while growing up on the rural community of Isle of Wight and eventually crossed paths working in venues, playing together and meeting at the same gigs. Between KILLJOY and now Caramel, their first two full-length albums are those of a band with no filter and no hesitation to throw punches.
