Indie Pop Band Queen Anne Release Bold Debut Single “Real Enough”

American indie pop band Queen Anne is excited to release their debut single “Real Enough”  alongside its accompanying music video.

Driven by the dark, ethereal, insidiously addictive sounds and lyrics of lead singer / songwriter Katie Silverman and writer / producer Sandy Chila, the duo’s music is the perfect blend of 80’s pop punk and post-modern edge.

On the song Silverman writes, “’Real Enough’ is about that time when Queen Anne specifically ordered a chicken sandwich with NO CHEESE and it came with cheese on it anyway. any resemblance to real persons, events, or situations is purely coincidental. if you feel this song is speaking to you personally, please call +1 (800) REFERENCE. in the event of an emergency, call someone who seems like they’d be helpful.”

Silverman adds, “The paradox that I wanted to explore is that when you’re attacking yourself, you’re necessarily also under attack. I wanted to write a song that felt like being on both sides at once.”

Leading with creativity, Queen Anne has the ability to transform everyday frustrations into a compelling musical narrative, changing these experiences from ordinary to extraordinary. Already demonstrating her talent as an accomplished actress on hit shows like New Girl, and Pen15, and the film The Exorcists, Katie Silverman’s creative mind now extends to music, signaling a dynamic new artistic endeavor. This debut single is not just a song; it’s an invitation to experience the world through Queen Anne’s lens, promising a journey into the unexpected.

In support of Share It Music’s mission, a portion of proceeds from “Real Enough,” will be donated to the Malaria Consortium.
