Halina Rice is a “immersive first” electronic musician and AV artist creating emotive electronic music paired with the most cutting edge visual techniques, as seen on latest single “ENDLESS”, and new album EVOLVE.
For this new release Rice continues to create enthralling tracks blending dance genres and innovating with warped effects and sound design.
“I wanted to build on the success of previous tracks to inspire people to move and to be moved. I can’t wait to present the new audiovisual shows at such prestigious events as ADE and MUTEK Japan.”
Rice continues her working partnership with visual artist Freny Antony for visuals and also with technology company Target3D to break new ground in music video. For key track “ENDLESS” they worked closely with technology company Target3D. Together they have been pioneering a new volume rendering technique, called Gaussian Splatting, to create 360 videos of dancer and choreographer Anna Vargha resulting in stunning immersive video.
Ashley Keeler, Head of Studio for Target3D says “We like to employ this technology working on creative projects so getting to work with Halina on this is really exciting because we can push the envelope both technically and creatively”
