This year’s GROWING UP IS DUMB comes after nearly 10 years since the last festival. GUID started as a small DIY fest organized by Lauren Records from 2013-2015, previously held at American Legion Halls in Highland Park and Pomona. The festival was made to showcase friends of the label’s bands along with the community around the late VLHS warehouse in Pomona. Performers at the first three GUIDs include Defiance Ohio, Japanther, Nana Grizol, The World Is A Beautiful Place, Joyce Manor, Pity Sex, Together Pangea, and many more, including Alex G’s first West Coast show ever.

Tickets for GROWING UP IS DUMB are on sale now.
