Dutch Producer Estiva Drops Hypnotic New House Single “Shores”

As the countdown to Estiva’s fifth studio album Embrace intensifies, the Dutch progressive house innovator unveils its latest single, “Shores.”

This new single adds another glimpse to the evolving sound of the record. “Shores” unfolds with fluid melodies, intricate layers, and vocals that hover between melancholy and uplift, reflecting the contrasts that have shaped the album. Featuring ethereal vocal work and lush, rolling melodies, it’s a masterclass in balancing energy and emotion.

“‘Shores’ is probably my favorite track on the album. I started it with Lauren and Dee, and I still remember that session vividly even though it was almost three years ago. It was really cool to see such talented people take my demo and turn it into something special. The tricky part for me was finishing it. When a vocal is that good, I feel pressure to get everything just right. It turned into a melodic house track, the vocal is really dynamic, and I wanted to let it shine while gradually letting the track become more emotional.”

Estiva has spent years refining a sound that bridges progressive house, melodic techno, and club-focused energy. His ability to blend detailed sound design with emotional depth has made him a key figure in the melodic electronic scene. Starting his career with releases on Enhanced Recordings, Anjunabeats, and Armada, he has built a reputation for crafting intricate yet accessible dance music. More recently, his work on Colorize has cemented his standing as an artist known for pushing progressive and melodic house into new territory.

Embrace, set for release on April 25th explores the relationship between solitude and connection, tension and release. Each track is designed to hold a place in a live set, shaping moments on the dancefloor and beyond. It’s a project shaped by Estiva’s years of touring, studio experimentation, and a desire to craft something immersive. With “Shores” now available, the full story of Embrace is coming into focus.
