Daya Reunites with The Chainsmokers on Euphoric New Collab “VEINS”

4x Platinum, GRAMMY-winning artist Daya makes a long-awaited return to The Chainsmokers’ orbit with “VEINS,” a centerpiece of the duo’s new EP BREATHE, out now. The track marks a full-circle moment for both artists, nearly a decade after their first collaboration catapulted them to global fame.

Their previous team-up — the chart-topping smash that earned Daya her first GRAMMY and amassed over 2 billion streams worldwide — helped define an era of electronic pop. Now, with “VEINS”, they reconnect for a simultaneously euphoric and explosive sonic experience.

The release follows Daya’s critically acclaimed sophomore album ‘Til Every Petal Drops, which showcased her most genuine, self-aware songwriting to date and has continued to cement her as one of pop’s most dynamic voices. Produced with a team of trusted collaborators, Til Every Petal Drops blends Daya’s signature ear for soaring pop melodies with a rawer, more unguarded lyrical voice. The album captures the intensity of heartbreak and healing, the rush of romantic devotion, and the lessons of nearly a decade spent growing up in the public eye.

In addition to high profile collaborations and releasing a new album, Daya’s recent 2025 viral feature “Dreamin,” a track with Dom Dolla, is nominated for Song of the Year at Australia’s ARIA Awards.
