Caribbean punk power-trio KRÖNA has just released their latest single, “Panic! Pvssy”—a loud, urgent, and unfiltered snapshot of the band’s ferocious live energy and defiant spirit. The track is the latest preview of their forthcoming debut LP, Dead Air Diaries, out November 22 on their own Merenpón Records (vinyl + digital).
Fusing hardcore urgency with Afro-Caribbean rhythms, blistering punk guitars, and reggae-dub grooves, “Panic! Pvssy” embodies Kröna’s signature “dance-in-the-pit” aesthetic: a high-speed collision of raw emotion, cultural pride, and relentless rhythm.
“Crank it and scream it! This one’s loud, raw, and straight from Dead Air Diaries,” the band says.
“This song criticizes the superficiality and manipulation in modern society, particularly in media and consumer culture. It highlights the pervasive influence of advertising, the exploitation of gender, and the empty promises of spiritual retreats. The “Panic! Pvssy” represents the sensationalism and fear-mongering that dominate public discourse. The lyrics call out the deceit and moral bankruptcy of those who control and profit from societal narratives”
Their upcoming debut LP Dead Air Diaries captures this spirit in full—an album born of resistance, celebration, and diaspora urgency.
