Buzzing Artist Windser Returns with Infectious New Single “These Days”

Windser (Jordan Topf) returns with “These Days,” an emotionally raw track that finds the rising indie artist expressing his feelings of melancholy through an infectious new single. On “These Days,” Topf sings “I’m so bored / I’m depressed / I’m a mess / These days,” each line landing like a gut-punch before launching into a chorus that sticks in your head long after the song ends.

“These Days” is the third single from Windser’s highly anticipated self-titled debut, out May 16 via Bright Antenna Records. The song comes on the heels of a just announced Los Angeles record release show at Permanent Records on May 16th . It also follows the release of “Shut Up and Kiss Me,” a dreamy ode to enduring love written for Topf’s wife, and the searing, deeply personal album opener “Abandon,” which reflects on childhood trauma and emotional abandonment. Together, the tracks reflect the album’s wide emotional spectrum—from heartbreak to hope, disconnection to devotion.

“These Days” features Topf on vocals and guitar, with contributions from Jerry Borgé (Lucinda Williams) on keys, Daniel Rhine (Phoebe Bridgers) on bass, and Dan Bailey (Father John Misty) on drums. The song was co-produced by Topf and Jon Gilbert (flipturn, Mt. Joy), who helped shape the LP’s dynamic sound along with Matias Tellez (Girl in Red, Sondre Lerche).

Windser’s full-length debut is the culmination of a creative evolution that’s spanned viral singles, national TV performances, and major festival appearances.

With its blend of unflinching vulnerability, melodic intensity, and emotional nuance, Windser offers a portrait of an artist not afraid to break open in pursuit of truth. The album is out May 16th.
