Ari Abdul Returns with Dark, Moody New Alt-Pop Single “Alive”

Rising artist Ari Abdul has shared her moody alt-dance single “Alive,” via Slumbo Labs/RCA Records. Available to stream now on all DSPs worldwide, the track is a powerful ode to rebirth and presence, and pulses with emotional gravity – both sonically and lyrically. With its atmospheric production and intensity, “Alive” is the sound of surrender and resilience intertwined – a moment of clarity on the dance floor and within.

“‘Alive’ is about embracing the flow of life,” Abdul shares. “It’s a song about wanting to be consumed by life and to be fully present, even when life challenges us or feels overwhelming.”

Ari Abdul has been nothing short of prolific in 2025, having released collabs with Jutes and Beach Weather, a new original track “Dreams,” and completed a full US tour with the beloved Nessa Barrett. Her debut single “BABYDOLL” continues to make waves, having surpassed 800 million global streams this year.

Hailing from Brooklyn, rising artist Ari Abdul has forged her own brand of dark alternative pop. She combines the reverb-heavy swells of your favorite shoegaze artists such as The Neighborhood and Lana Del Rey, while showcasing an array of visual and stylistic influences. In 2023, Ari released her EP CCTV which solidified her position as an up-and-coming trailblazer in the pop music landscape, drawing in listeners with her unique sound and emotionally charged lyrics. The EP features six tracks, all expertly crafted to resonate with fans on a deeply personal level.
