Philly-born experimental trio Besphrenz have shared new single “yeah,” featuring Philly rock mainstays Anthony Green (Circa Survive) and Keith Goodwin (Good Old War). “yeah” finds Besphrenz trading vocals back-and-forth with Anthony and Keith over a lulling indie backtrack as R&B elements anchor a swaying downtempo rhythm.
Speaking about his feature on “yeah”, Anthony Green, said “When Keith asked me about this project I instantly said yes. Rob has been an essential part of my last few records and all the stuff they work on is so inspired. I’m honored to be a part of this song”
Keith Goodwin replied in a similar vein, “I’m always down to make music with Besphrenz. They have created a very free flowing creative space where all ideas are heard and welcomed. “yeah” is cool to me because it reminds me of “Scenerio” in that everyone in this group of friends gets a verse.”
The “yeah” music video features the Pennsylvania shed where the album was produced by the three musicians. An homage to their backyard-built roots, the trio, along with Anthony and Keith, pass off the microphone in The Shed as each takes their turn sharing their verses while hypnotic visuals fill the space.
They’ve also announced their sophomore full-length record, bert – due on October 24th, 2025. Lacing elements of indie-rock and R&B, the album features dual vocalists C.J. Smith and Tay Jones behind producer and instrumentalist Rob Devious’s layered indie-soul soundscape.
