A Big Covers Collection of The Beatles 1967-1970 Period is Coming

Yet another detailed set coming from the Cherry Red reissue specialists. This time around, under the title With a Little Help From My Friends: Covers of The Beatles 1967-1970, they have prepared a collection of Beatles covers other artists released from the period mentioned in the upcoming 3-CD collection. The release date is set for September 19, 2025, through their Strawberry imprint.

The collection presents 75 tracks recorded by such acts as Ike & Tina Turner, Billy Preston, Harry Nilsson, Jose Feliciano, Wilson Pickett and Richie Havens, and complements label’s 2023 successful set that spanned the band’s early years of 1962-1966. The new title is available for pre-order in the U.S. here, in Canada here and in the U.K. here.

The new set looks at the continuing huge influence The Beatles had on a multitude of artists in disparate genres throughout numerous countries. Their impact was felt in almost every sphere of music with this compilation featuring artists working in genres such as rock, blues, country, soul, folk, classical, jazz, and more. This wild variety of musical styles not only illustrates the strength of the compositional skills of Lennon, McCartney and Harrison but also provides an engaging and eclectic listening experience that appeal to fans of The Beatles in particular as well as those who like popular music in general.
