The wait is over—Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema have officially dropped the first trailer for Final Destination: Bloodlines, the latest installment in the legendary horror franchise. Set to hit theaters May 16, 2025, this new chapter revives the series with fresh terror, shocking deaths, and a spine-chilling new take on fate’s deadly design.
Final Destination: Bloodlines takes the franchise in a bold new direction, exploring the mysterious origins of Death’s intricate, unavoidable plan. The film follows a young woman who discovers a dark family connection to past Final Destination survivors, putting her at the center of a terrifying chain of events. As she and her friends try to outsmart fate, they quickly realize that no one truly escapes Death’s grasp—and this time, the rules have changed.
The trailer teases gruesome, elaborate death sequences, eerie supernatural elements, and a deeper dive into the mythology of the Final Destination universe, making Bloodlines a must-watch for horror fans.
Directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein (Freaks), and produced by horror mastermind Jon Watts (Spider-Man: No Way Home), Final Destination: Bloodlines brings a modern cinematic style to the franchise while keeping the tension, suspense, and shocking twists that made the original films iconic.
The cast includes a mix of rising stars and familiar faces: Kaitlyn Santa Juana, Teo Briones, Richard Harmon, Owen Patrick Joyner, Rya Kihlstedt, Anna Lore, Brec Bassinger, and Tony Todd, who reprises his role as William Bludworth (this is his last on-screen appearance before his untimely passing).
The film is scheduled for a theatrical release May 16, 2025, with an HBO Max streaming debut later in the year.
