Written and directed by Destry Allyn Spielberg (making her feature debut), Please Don’t Feed the Children unveiled its official trailer.
Plot & Premise
Set in a dystopian near future, the film follows a group of orphaned children who escape a deadly viral outbreak that wiped out most adults in America. Seeking refuge, they encounter a seemingly kind woman—played by Michelle Dockery—who offers shelter, only to harbor a sinister secret that puts their survival at risk.
The trailer opens with idyllic milk-and-cookie hospitality that quickly turns ominous—Dockery’s character serves suspiciously sweet treats before locking the kids away, whispering, “I’ll be a good mother!” Dark interiors, unsettling silences, and sudden bursts of terror suggest psychological horror over typical slasher tropes.
