Netflix has finally officially announced the release schedule for the highly-anticipated Season 5 of Stranger Things. Revealed during the 2025 TUDUM fan event, the season will be released in three parts:
- Volume 1: November 26, 2025 (4 episodes)
- Volume 2: December 25, 2025 (3 episodes)
- Finale: December 31, 2025 (1 episode)
Each installment will premiere at 5:00 PM PT, offering fans a thrilling conclusion to the series during the holiday season.
A Glimpse into the Final Chapter
The newly released teaser trailer provides a nostalgic montage of previous seasons, culminating in a chilling scene where Will Byers warns, “Run!” as ominous events unfold. The final season is set in the fall of 1987, following the aftermath of the Upside Down’s incursion into Hawkins. As the town faces military quarantine and Eleven goes into hiding, the group must confront new and familiar threats.
Returning Cast and New Additions
The main cast returns, including Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven), Finn Wolfhard (Mike), Winona Ryder (Joyce), David Harbour (Hopper), and others. New to the series is Linda Hamilton, known for her role in Terminator, joining in a mysterious role.
