‘London Calling’ Trailer Marks Hilarious Hitman-Babysitter Twist

The first trailer has officially dropped for the actioncomedy film London Calling, starring Josh Duhamel as Tommy Ward—a down-on-his-luck hitman suddenly tasked with babysitting the son of his crime boss. The movie premieres in theaters on September 19, 2025, via Quiver Distribution.

Plot

Benson insists Tommy mentor his sensitive son Julian (Jeremy Ray Taylor) in the art of “becoming a man”—leading to an odd-couple dynamic throughout their latest high-stakes caper.

As Tommy reluctantly bonds with Julian, the film teases unexpectedly tender moments amid comedic action, challenging the hitman’s hardened exterior.

Trailer highlights include playful banter and uneasy mentoring, with Tommy’s cynical guidance clashing with Julian’s accidental assassin instincts (thanks to Fortnite training!).

As described by film critics, the trailer blends “loud, irreverent—and strangely tender” moments, walking a tonal line between action comedy and heartfelt drama.
