The official trailer for the upcoming crime thriller Neighborhood Watch, starring Jack Quaid and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, has been released, offering a gripping glimpse into this suspenseful narrative. Directed by Duncan Skiles, the film is set to premiere in select theaters and on-demand platforms on April 25, 2025.
In Neighborhood Watch, Jack Quaid portrays Simon, a young man grappling with mental illness who becomes convinced he has witnessed an abduction. When his concerns are dismissed by the police, he turns to his neighbor Ed, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, a retired security guard with a troubled past. Together, they embark on a perilous journey to uncover the truth behind the disappearance.
The film features a notable ensemble cast, including Malin Akerman in a supporting role. Directed by Duncan Skiles, known for The Clovehitch Killer, and written by Sean Farley, Neighborhood Watch draws inspiration from ’80s action dramedies like Midnight Run and Something Wild.
Filmed with a modest budget and a compact crew, the production fostered a close-knit environment. Jeffrey Dean Morgan remarked, “We shot the film in three weeks and share the screen in about 99 percent of [the] film, so it was a crash course in brotherhood.”
Neighborhood Watch is scheduled for release on April 25, 2025, available in select theaters and on-demand platforms.
