Apple TV+ Has Teased Season 3 of ‘Foundation’ with an Epic New Trailer

Apple TV+ has released the official teaser trailer for the highly anticipated Season 3 of its epic sci-fi series, Foundation, set to premiere on July 11, 2025. Based on Isaac Asimov’s acclaimed novels, the series continues to explore the complex dynamics of a galaxy on the brink of transformation.

A New Era Begins: 152 Year Later

Season 3 picks up 152 years after the events of Season 2. The Foundation has evolved from its humble beginnings into a formidable force, while the Cleonic Empire faces decline. As these two powers form a tenuous alliance, a new adversary emerges: The Mule, a warlord wielding mind control and military might, threatening to destabilize the fragile balance of the galaxy.

The Season 3 teaser showcases the series’ signature blend of stunning visuals and intricate storytelling. There’s visually striking portrayal of The Mule, emphasizing his formidable presence, Gaal Dornick’s daring leap from a spaceship, the return of Demerzel, whose loyalties and intentions remain enigmatic, and a new iteration of Brother Day, reflecting the ongoing cycle of the genetic dynasty.

Produced by Skydance Television, Foundation continues under the executive production of David S. Goyer, Robyn Asimov, and others. Despite stepping down as showrunner in 2023 due to budget considerations, Goyer remains integral to the series’ creative direction.

Season 3 will consist of 10 episodes, premiering weekly every Friday from July 11 through September 12, 2025. Fans can catch up on the first two seasons, currently available for streaming on Apple TV+.
