A New Documentary ‘The Veiled World Of Nick Cave’ to Explore Cave’s Contribution to Modern Music

Sky Documentaries has announced a new Nick Cave documentary, which will explore his “enduring influence and unique impact.” The Veiled World Of Nick Cave, which is set to air on Sky Documentaries later in 2025, will see the likes of Florence Welch, Radiohead bassist Colin Greenwood and Warren Ellis, discuss how working with Cave has “transformed their own creative lives, examining the archetypal figures woven through his work, his artistic courage and singular impact”, for the one-off special.

Irvine Welsh, designer Bella Freud and filmmaker Wim Wenders will also discuss his influence on their own creative work.

Phil Edgar-Jones OBE, Executive Director of Unscripted Originals at Sky, said of the documentary in a statement: “Nick Cave is one of those incomparable artists whose power of storytelling knows no bounds. His vivid landscapes are brought to life through his lyrics, his books, his music and his ceramics. We’re delighted to be lifting the lid on his brilliantly multi-layered world in this special.”
