Tyler, The Creator and Converse Revive Vintage Classics with the ‘1908’ Collection

Tyler, The Creator continues his innovative partnership with Converse by unveiling the ‘1908’ collection, a nostalgic nod to the brand’s rich heritage. This latest collaboration reimagines two archival silhouettes—the NAUT-1 and the Coach Jogger—infusing them with Tyler’s distinctive GOLF le FLEUR* aesthetic.

A Fusion of Heritage and Modern Flair

The ‘1908’ collection resurrects the NAUT-1, originally introduced in 1971 as a lifestyle boat shoe, and the Coach Jogger, a track shoe debuted during the 1976 Olympic Games. Tyler’s reinterpretation breathes new life into these classics, blending mid-century design elements with contemporary streetwear sensibilities.

The NAUT-1 is available in four colorways, including:

  • Pastel Yellow/Bright Gold featuring the Darryl the dog mascot
  • Cannoli Cream/Stone Green with embroidered floral motifs
  • Starlight Blue/Turkish Tile
  • Dachshund/Afterglow

The Coach Jogger comes in three distinct hues:

  • Forest Shade/Green
  • Quiet Tide/Starlight Blue
  • Bistre/Dijon/Star White

Each pair showcases Tyler’s signature design elements, merging Converse’s storied past with his avant-garde approach to fashion.

Release Details

The ‘1908’ collection is set for a limited global release on June 20, 2025, through Converse.com and select retailers. For those in Los Angeles, an exclusive early access pop-up event will be held on June 12, offering fans a first look at the collection.

This collaboration not only pays homage to Converse’s legacy but also underscores Tyler, The Creator’s influence in bridging the gap between classic designs and modern streetwear culture.
