This partnership pays homage to Girbaud’s pioneering contributions to denim fashion while infusing Supreme’s contemporary aesthetic.​
Founded in 1972 by designers François Girbaud and Marithé Bachellerie, Marithé + François Girbaud revolutionized the denim industry with groundbreaking techniques such as stonewashing and laser engraving. Their experimental approach introduced distinctive constructions and fits that have left an indelible mark on fashion. ​
The Supreme x Marithé + François Girbaud collection features a range of apparel and accessories that blend Girbaud’s signature designs with Supreme’s streetwear sensibilities. Key pieces include:
- ​Leather Flight Bomber Jacket: Crafted in collaboration with Alpha Industries, this jacket showcases embossed “Girbaud” branding across the back, available in black and camo colorways.
- X-Seam Baggy Jean: A nod to Girbaud’s iconic baggy fit, these 14 oz. denim jeans feature slanted front hand pockets, patch pockets at the seat, and a leather logo patch at the back.
