Nike is set to release the Air Max “Muscle” 95, a collaboration with the iconic Japanese franchise Yu-Gi-Oh!, in Fall 2025. This partnership brings to life the fictional “Air Muscle” sneaker, famously worn by the character Katsuya Jonouchi (known as Joey Wheeler in the English adaptation) in the original manga series. The “Air Muscle” closely resembled Nike’s classic Air Max 95 “Neon,” though it lacked official branding due to licensing constraints at the time.
The collaboration will feature two distinct colorways:
- White/Wolf Grey-Dark Smoke Grey-Cool Grey: This iteration offers a neutral palette, staying true to the original Air Max 95 aesthetic.
- Psychic Blue/Mystic Navy-Stone Blue-Volt: This vibrant version is expected to mirror the hues of the “Air Muscle” depicted in the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga, capturing the essence of Jonouchi’s iconic footwear.
Both colorways will be available in men’s sizing, each priced at $200 USD. The sneakers are anticipated to release through Nike’s official channels and select retailers.
In addition to the sneakers, the collaboration will include a range of apparel:
- Nike Destroyer Jacket QS: Available in Blue Void/Off White, this premium jacket is priced at $200 USD.
- Nike Solo Swoosh Tees: Offered in Black and White color options, these tees provide versatile styling choices.
