LEGO Unveils Retro-Inspired Minifigure Vending Machine Set with 16 Collectible Figures

LEGO has officially announced the release of its latest LEGO Ideas set: the Minifigure Vending Machine (21358). This 1,343-piece buildable set offers a nostalgic, interactive experience for adult fans and collectors alike.

The set allows builders to construct a working, retro-style vending machine. By inserting an included LEGO coin and turning the handle, users can dispense one of 16 colorful capsules, each containing bricks to assemble a unique minifigure. Themes represented include Castle, Paradisa, Fabuland, Classic Space, and even a minifigure of the fan designer himself, Rob Vangansewinkel. Vangansewinkel, inspired by a childhood vending machine, spent months perfecting the mechanism to ensure functionality.
