Gorillaz, the pioneering virtual band created by Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett, are commemorating their 25th anniversary with an immersive art exhibition titled House of Kong. The exhibition will run from August 8 to September 3, 2025, at London’s Copper Box Arena.
House of Kong offers fans a unique opportunity to delve into the band’s rich history, exploring their musical innovations and groundbreaking virtual artistry since their debut in 2000. The exhibition promises an hour-long experience, open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., with tickets starting at £25.
Visitors will journey through the lives of the band’s iconic members—Murdoc Niccals, 2D, Russel Hobbs, and Noodle—experiencing their misadventures and creative milestones that have defined Gorillaz’s unique place in music history.
In conjunction with the exhibition, Gorillaz will perform four exclusive concerts at the Copper Box Arena on August 29, August 30, September 2, and September 3. These performances mark the band’s return to live shows in London after canceling their 2023 North American tour.
Ticket holders for the House of Kong exhibition will receive exclusive presale access to these limited-capacity concerts, offering a comprehensive celebration of the band’s 25-year legacy.
